KAI is the Hawaiian word for ocean. The rich textures and movements of the oceanโs surface come alive through the oldest of all techniques โ pinching. The depths of the Pacific are captured in black clay. Occasionally a fin slips through the waves, as golden sunlight kisses the edges.
